2024 Youth Results – Swartswood

The State Championship was stop no.3 for the NJ Jr. Bass Nation tournament series located on Swartswood Lake in North Jersey. Once again we had a full field of Jr’s and High School anglers ready to battle it out for the top spot to be named the NJ JR State Champion. The winners of this event are qualified to fish against top anglers from around the country at the Bassmaster Nationals in Tennessee. We had a hard fought tournament for all anglers being that the bass were a little finicky on this day. As usual all of our anglers keep their heads down for the chance at the top prize!

For the High School division we had a nail biter with the two top teams only being separated by 1/100 of an ounce.

Coming in first and taking the title of the New Jersey High School State Champions:

1st – Jake Gluszek & Max Hughen 

2nd – Matthew Widdis & Eliot Zalewski

3rd – Joseph Duemmer

For the Juniors, coming in first and taking the title for the New Jersey Juniors State Champions:

1st – Wally Peer

2nd – Tanner Muzyk

3rd – Tristin Licardo

Good luck to our anglers who will be heading to Tennessee to represent the New Jersey Bass Nation at the Nationals!
